The long out-of-stock ST-Modern HH is back with a bang! As this time the rock guitar relaunches in five brand new shiny metallic colours, all with newly spec’d pickups and pickguards. And while we were at it, we figured it was time to sort out the right handers. The ST-Modern Plus HSS in Dark Purple Sparkle is now also available for right-handers.

Guess Who’s Back? The ST-Modern HH

Guaranteed to dazzle bandmates and angry neighbours alike, the ST-Modern HH doesn’t beat around the bush. Windmilling for 90 minutes straight? The American Alder body with a tapered heel and sculpted rear contouring guarantee your comfort. The roasted Canadian Maple bolt-on neck (modern C shape) is rock-solid and fast, while a Laurel fingerboard with compound 305–406mm (12” – 16”) radius delivers depth in the low-end, and a sharp, snappy attack up top. The double-action spoke-wheel truss rod means you can dial in your setup fast and then get back to the important stuff.

Pickup Versatility
The real weapons sit in the routing: Isola Hydrazine Alnico5 Open Humbuckers at bridge and neck deliver the kind of warm-but-mean tone that feels equally at home crushing a power chord or clawing through a soaring lead. But here’s the kicker: hit the push/pull on the tone pot and coil-split both pickups — suddenly you’ve got single-coil sparkle when you need to slice through the mix.
