Where a standard SC-550 Plus gives you one tone knob per pickup, the Fluence humbuckers offer multiple pickup voices, selected via push/pull. Voice 1: classic humbucker. The neck delivers a moderate-output humbucker voicing with warm mids and a smooth top end; the bridge matches it with a calibrated, vintage humbucker voice. Voice 2: the neck splits into a clear and airy chime while the bridge turns hot-rodded, aggressive and built for drive. Voice 3: both pickups drop into single-coil for a full, clean vintage single-coil voice. Voicing is controlled via volume for bridge and neck, plus push/pull tone controls for the neck (Voice 2) and bridge (Voice 3), and a 3-way switch for pickup selection.

Okoume body with an AA flame maple top, set nyatoh neck in a 1960 C profile, roasted jatoba fingerboard, 22 Blacksmith stainless steel medium jumbo frets, graphite nut, WSC LP17 Tune-O-Matic bridge, and WSC Schaller-style J07 locking tuners. The same SC-550 Plus we know and love, with a smarter, more versatile engine.
