CLO-65SE Slate Blue: A Beautiful Blue Orchestra-Body Acoustic Guitar

Launches 23.07.2026
Ever dreamed of an acoustic guitar that’s a little different? The CLO-65SE SB trades the expected sunburst-and-spruce formula for something with a little more surprise. A slate blue satin finish is certainly a statement, wrapped around an orchestra body shape that's classy, articulate, and comfortable. It plays beautifully whether fingerpicking a ballad or strumming through a set.

Solid Top

Underneath the stunning blue, a solid spruce top sings out bright and clear, paired with mahogany sapele back and sides for warmth. X-bracing keeps the top structurally sound, trimmed in ABS multi-ply body binding for a considered finish. When it comes to playability, a pau ferro fingerboard with a 380mm radius and pearloid dot inlays ensures fluidity across all 20 nickel frets. The C-shape nato neck meets the body at the 14th fret via a dovetail joint, while a 43mm bone nut leaves enough room to move comfortably around the board.

Shiny Abalone

The devil is, of course, in the details: an abalone rosette that shimmers and surely catches eyes, a marbled perloid pickguard, a bone bridge and saddle for clarity and definition, and open-gear chrome tuners with an 18:1 ratio for tuning stability that holds up from soundcheck through to encore. For plugged-in players, the built-in HB-03 pickup system and preamp, complete with an integrated tuner, means the CLO-65SE is stage-ready, no separate pedal or clip-on required.

Blue Fever

Strung with HB HQS WE 12-53PB coated strings, the CLO-65SE Slate Blue is ready to play right out of the box, and ready to turn heads right out of the case. Standing proud in a bedroom studio or riding shotgun to open-mic night, the CLO-65SE Slate Blue knows how to make an entrance. Who says acoustics have to play it safe?
