The ST-80 has always been our love letter to the high-energy guitar culture of the 1980s — big stages, bright lights, and guitars that refuse to blend into the background. Now, that spirit gets an even bolder visual upgrade with a brand-new lineup of sparkle finishes.
The ST-80 is now available in these striking new looks: Pink Sparkle Burst, Silver Sparkle Burst, Gold Sparkle Burst, Emerald Sparkle Burst, Amethyst Sparkle Burst, and two standout Holographic finishes. Designed to shimmer under stage lights, these finishes capture the flashy, unapologetic style that defined an entire era of guitar playing.
Under the hood, the ST-80 remains the same high-performance shred machine players already know and love. It features an American basswood body with a tapered heel and a bolt-on roasted Canadian flame maple neck and fretboard (Rosewood also available). The compound 12″–16″ fingerboard radius and 22 stainless steel frets provide smooth playability for fast runs, wide bends, and effortless lead work across the entire neck.
A Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo system delivers the full arsenal of expressive techniques, from subtle vibrato to dramatic dive bombs. The electronics keep things simple and powerful, with players able to choose between a single-humbucker configuration for pure, aggressive tone or a dual-humbucker version for expanded tonal versatility.
